The Harold Kaye competition was held on Saturday 23rd May on a superb green at Bicton. Ellis Griffiths of the Prince Hotel was the winner picking up the trophy for the second time in three years after beating Jack Cook of the Monkmoor 21-19 in a very closely fought final.
Ellis’s route to the final also saw him win tight games with 21-19 against Emily Hotchkiss (Crescent) and 21-18 against Hannah Gray (Hadnall) in the semi-final. Jack beat Jacob Wall (Castlefields) 21-8 and Myles Fisher (Wem USC) on his way to the final.
