The 2025 Champion of Champions competition was held on 17th May 2026 at Old Shrewsbury Bowling Club. The competition was well supported and the spectators were treated to some excellent bowling.
In the quarter finals Keith Wall (Monkmoor) won 21 – 8 against Mike Lovett (Castlefields GWR), Darren Phillips (Hanwood) won 21 – 12 against Emmet McKinley (Oxon), Peter Dodd (Pontesbury) won 21 – 19 against Steve Haycocks (Frankwell) and Dan Wornell (Prince Hotel) won 21 – 17 against Perry Evans (Monkmoor).
The semi-finals were closely contested with Keith winning 21 – 16 against Darren and Dan winning 21 – 20 against Peter. An excellent final with top class bowling saw Dan winning 21 – 19 against Keith to win the trophy for the first time.
The Terry Croft Champion of Champions trophy was presented by Mrs Pat Croft. Thanks were extended to Mrs Croft for attending and Old Shrewsbury Bowling Club for their hospitality.
