Please be advised we will be holding an Open Tanners League Presentation/Executive Committee Meeting on Thursday 20th November from 7.00pm at Old Shrewsbury Bowling Club.
The presentation of League trophies will be made before the meeting. We are encouraging clubs to send a delegate and/or a designated person to collect the trophies won this season. We are trying something different this season as previous presentation evenings have seen a dramatic decline in attendance and we have then needed to chase teams/clubs to pass on the trophies.
If you cannot make this meeting, please try to make sure another representative from your club attends.
We will be discussing the 2026 season at this meeting and how the league should proceed in 2026. We are already looking forward to the 2026 season and will welcome new team applications until 31st December 2025. Likewise, if your club is thinking of withdrawing a team from the 2026 season, I would urge clubs to please give us as much notice as possible.
