The Tanners League Junior Doubles took place at Bicton Bowling Club on Saturday 21st September. The format was a round robin group with 2 points to the winners of each game. The pairs were Emily Hotchkiss (Crescent) and Holly Hotchkiss (Prince Hotel), Jack Cooke (Hadnall) and Billy Walmsley (Prince Hotel) and Owen Hanmer (Unison) and Ellis Griffiths (Prince Hotel) and the overall winners were Jack and Billy. They were all congratulated for some excellent bowling despite the heavy rain.
The families and friends were thanked for their support on the day. Thanks were also extended to Bicton Bowling Club for their hospitality and to Mr Andy Jones (League Chairman) and his team for the immaculate bowling green.
It had been some time since this competition had taken place since the Covid years and it was great to be able to play for it again. The trophy was presented by Mr Mike Caddick, League President, who was also thanked for sponsoring the junior competitions and his help on the day.
