Crescent were the winners of the 2026 Tanner Cup Final, winning the trophy for the first time since 1980 and making it third time lucky in recent times, having been losing finalists twice in the past five years.
Mark Harris gave them a good start at No.1 with 21-11 as he was one of three Crescent winners at the front, including Man of the Match Mark Rogers. This was followed in the middle by Andy Pullen 21-10 and James Mansell 21-11 as they eased to a 22 chalk win.
Prince Hotel had five winners with Rob Jones 21-12, Paul Marshall 21-15 and Neil Ashley 21-17.
Captain Dave Oliver, in receiving the Cup, dedicated the win to those members the club had lost since 1980 and most recently Scott Bowen, Ant Lewis and Phil Greaves.
