Prince Hotel won their 10th Team Doubles Final after a close match against a combined Bicton and Shelton team.
Having to overcome a 10 point difference on the handicap they managed to narrow this to 2 at the front after Danny Wornell and Rob Jones won 21-8 and father and son, Lee and Billy Walmsley, came back from 7-17 to win 21-18. Andy Gale and John Farmer bowled very well for Bicton 21-13 to just keep them in front. The Prince, however, had the next two winners to build an unassailable lead of 15, despite the best efforts of Bicton’s Craig Jones and Ant Williams who won 21-17 last game on.
