The Tanner and Champagne Cup Finals take place on Saturday 13th September at Meole Brace Bowling Club.
The No.1 Green hosts the Tanner Cup Final between Castlefields and Battlefield, two clubs that have a great tradition of winning the trophy. Castlefields have won it the most times (18), the last time being in 2023, whilst Battlefield are second with 14 wins, the last of which was in 2015.
Albert Road Exiles take on Frankwell in the Champagne Cup on the No. 2 Green. The trophy has spent more time at the old Albert Road club than anywhere else since it was introduced in 1988, with their teams (Perkins/Perkins Sentinel/Reman/ Reman Services ) winning it a combined seven times. Frankwell have yet to get their name on the trophy although they have enjoyed success in the Tanner Cup, winning it in 1947 and 1948.
