Frankwell won the Champagne Cup as they beat Albert Road Exiles by 41 on Meole Brace No. 2. Player of the Match, Steve Haycocks, won 21-6 at No. 5 to help build on a solid start and their back two of Mike Haycocks and Jesse James rounded this off with 8 and 9 wins respectively. For the Exiles John Davies 21-14 was best of three winners.
