Michael Caddick announced his resignation as  League President after nine years in the position and is succeeded by Richard Jones. Michael was thanked for his tremendous service over his years of office and his commitment to the League and its competitions.

The Shropshire League will start on Friday 10th April. There will be 32 teams in total following the acceptance of new teams from Atcham Malthouse and Greenfields B. The 1st Division will comprise 12 teams, whilst Divisions 2 and 3 will be 10 aside and consist of 10 teams. One rule change means that once a player has made 10 appearances in the Premier League they will not be able to play on the Shropshire League.

The Shrewsbury League will start the following Tuesday (14th April). There will be 41 teams with a new B team entering from Atcham Malthouse. Divisions 1, 2 and 3 will comprise 10 teams and Division 4, 11 teams.

The Management Committee’s proposals that Division 2 in both the Shropshire and Shrewsbury League return to the pre-Covid position of 12 and 10 aside respectively were rejected.

In future only the finals of the Cup competitions will be held on neutral greens.

There were also a number of minor rule changes agreed including the addition of an Executive Committee meeting in June.
