The battle between second and third went the way of the home side who had Chris Luther winning well at the back, 21 – 8.  Best Posties were Shaun Bould and Dominic Wootton, both 21 – 18.

A big win for the Hotel in their quest to move up from fourth in the table, Andy Walker best for them, 21 – 8.  Kevin Jones was in top form for the Nags B side, 21 – 11.

A much needed ten points for the Red Lion outfit in their bid to avoid relegation, Barry Gilder in good form at the end, 21 – 6.  Best Old Shrew was Chris Jones Jnr., 21 – 13.

A solid home performance from the Humpers who had Tony Cunningham and Kieran Walker sharing the coppers, both 21 – 5. Best Fielder was Tony Wall, also 21 – 5.

A good home victory for the Bracers who had Phil Tune on song with a 21 – 4 success.  Best of Hanwood’s two winners was Rob Jones, also 21 – 4.

The Friars moved into top spot after this home success, Mark Lanning and Ernie Shea both with excellent 21 – 4 cards. Kerry Lea showed he has not lost his class winning 21 – 5 for the Hotel.

The Albert would have hoped for more at bottom club Oxon who put on an excellent performance after going 3 – 1 down, Roger Haydon with their best card, 21 – 4.  John Griffiths was the Albert’s best, 21 – 5.

Games were shared in this very close match with the Hillbillies claiming the aggregate points by just one chalk, John Davies best for them, 21 – 12.  Kevin Williams was best for the Social side, 21 – 13.

A good win for the already doomed A49ers against the Red Lion’s B side who will have to pull out all the stops to avoid joining them in division three next season. Best A49er Anne Higgins, 21 – 10 and for Battlefield Ian Rose, also 21 – 10.

The Admin Boys and Girls rallied well to win this match by just two chalks after going 4 – 0 down.  Best for them Pete Oliver, 21 – 8 and for a disappointed Brick Perry Evans, 21 – 6.

A good contest with the Crescent boys having six winners and a healthy agg with 4 single figure cards the best being Daz Hunting 21-4 and Andy Maycock 21-5. John Evans was the best visitor 21-10.

John Allen 21-12 and Bill Francis 21-16 got the Shrews of to a good start then the wheels came off as the Field’s reeled off the next 8 games with Neil Thomas 21-5 and Ally Roberts 21-9 for a big win.
